CU regents fire Churchill after Sept. 11 remarks

BOULDER, Colo. -- The University of Colorado Board of Regents on Tuesday fired Ward Churchill, the professor whose remarks likening some Sept. 11 victims to Nazi Adolf Eichmann provoked national outrage and led to an investigation of research misconduct. Churchill vowed to sue after the 8-1 vote was announced, saying: "New game, new game."

CU President Hank Brown said "the decision was really pretty basic" based on the school's findings of plagiarism, falsification and other infractions involving work unrelated to Churchill's remarks on the Sept. 11 victims. Brown said the school had little choice but to fire Churchill to protect the integrity of the university's research. LINK

Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, ha, Ha, Ha Ha, Ha . . . infinity!!! Whew! My stomach hurts after that one! Well, they finally canned the clown. Ward Churchill, left wing pseudo professor of who-knows-what got his just dessert today. He got canned! It only took two years, but better late then never.

Churchill is a left-wing nut job who's claim to fame was disparaging victims of the Sept. 11th attacks for no apparent reason. He's a champion of the "We brought this on ourselves mentality" common to the left wing "Intelligentsia." Oh Brother.

Funny though, the only thing his remarks were able to do was spark an investigation into his other "work." Turns out that old Ward, despite claiming to be an Indian, isn't. It also appears that "Professor Churchill" is fond of other people's work. So much so, that he uses it and tries to pass it off as his own. That's called plagiarism. Professors are supposed to know that.

In the end, the whole thing stems from the usual case of liberals not adhering to what they preach . . . tolerance and sensitivity. Churchill was INTOLERANT of the victims of 911 and so he decided to disparage them. That was INSENSITIVE. Good riddance . . . DOPE!
